Association Spring Meeting
Our Association Spring Meeting will be held this year at New Palestine Baptist Church located at 2336 Palestine Road in Picayune, MS 39466 on April 2nd beginning at 6:30 p.m. Each church is allowed 4 messengers for the first 50 members, and l messenger for each additional 50 members or a part thereof. Please elect a full number of allowable messengers to represent your church. You can also bring members as guest but they will not be able to vote in the business session. To make sign-in easier, please assign someone to bring your Messenger/Non-Messenger Sheet mailed to each church filled out with the names attending.
The April Minister’s Fellowship will be held at the New City Buffet in Picayune next to Stage on April 6th beginning at 10:30 a.m. If you consider yourself a Ministers, a Pastor or a Preacher, you are welcome to attend.
Association Bible Drills
Associational Children and Student/Youth Bible Drills will be held on Sunday, April 12th at Central Baptist Church in McNeill, from 2:00-4:00 p.m. Church Drills should be held prior to this date, and the Associational Office notified of the number of participants from your church by Thursday, April 9th. This is always a highlight of our church year, and we look forward to a good turnout by our young people as they demonstrate what they have learned from God's Word.
State Drills will be held Thursday, April 16th at Temple Baptist Church in Hattiesburg from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m.
RA’s Father & Son Campout
The RA’s Father & Son Campout will begin on Friday, April 24th at 6:00 p.m. and will go until 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 25th on the Association Grounds. Each church is responsible for the Friday supper meal. The Association will furnish breakfast Saturday morning. You will need to bring a tent, sleeping bags, soft drinks and snacks. If you want to fish, bring your rod/reel and bait. If your church does not have RA’s, father and sons (1st-6th grade) are welcome to come and join in the campout.
FBC Poplarville will be the location for the March 3rd Men’s Ministry Meeting. Guest Speaker will be Bro. Ken Rhodes from the MBCB Mission Mobilization Department in Jackson. The meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. and a meal will be provided. All men in the Association are invited to attend
“Senior Adult Day Luncheon”
Senior Adult Day will be held on Thursday, March 26th from 10:30 a.m. till Noon at the Lee Conference Center. Our Guest Speaker this year will be Michelle Beadle of the Christian Jew Foundation Ministries of New Orleans. Michelle will be doing a presentation on “Messiah in the Passover”. This presentation links the observance of the first Passover to the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus. She will show us how the Jewish people have observed Passover for the past 3,000 years, how they observe it today, and how it all points to Yeshua (Jesus).

Association Bible Drills
The 2015 Association Bible Drills will be held on Sunday, April 12th at Central Baptist Church in McNeill from 2:00 till 4:00 p.m.
The State Drills are scheduled to be held on Thursday, April 16th at Temple Baptist Church in Hattiesburg from 2:30 - 5:30 p.m.
The Association will not be sponsoring a VBS Clinic this year but if interested you may want to attend a VBS Kick-Off on Saturday, March 7th at the First Baptist Church in Richton, MS. Hours are 9:00 a.m. till Noon.
Association Student Speaker’s Tournament
This year’s Association Speaker’s Tournament will be held at the Association Office on Friday, March 20th at 4:30 p.m. If you have a Youth in your church that will be participating, please call the Association Office to register them. Each Speaker is required to submit a draft of their speech to the Association Office no later than Friday, March 13th for the Judges to review.
The State Speaker’s Tournament will be held this year on April 11th from 10:00 a.m. till 2:00 p.m. at Liberty Baptist Church in Flowood, MS
Please Note: Thursday, April 2nd is the Deadline for submitting critiqued manuscripts to the Association Office for the State Tournament. (April 3rd is Good Friday and the Office will be closed.)
